School Tuition

Tuition and fees are charged per student, per month, per academic school year. Costs for field trips, excursions, after school clubs or school lunches are not included.

In case of a child’s registration being cancelled after June 1, a cancellation fee of € 2,000 is payable.

Siblings' Discount

Annual sibling discounts will be a maximum of 6.5% of a child’s tuition paid. It will be credited in August of each school year to the parents’ bank account for those siblings that attended MSF during the same time as their older brother/sister. They are granted in sequence of the siblings’ birthdays. The oldest child will always pay full School / Kindergarten fees.

Late Joining Fees

Monthly school tuition is charged as of the date the child starts school at MSF. For accrued school costs of keeping the place open during the school year until the date the child joins the school a fee equivalent to one month’s school tuition is payable by way of direct debit when the child joins the school.

Taxable Deductions

The primary school fees can be offset against taxable income to 30% ‘ Sonderausgaben’ since Metropolitan School Frankfurt operates as a state-approved alternative school. All child care costs, i.e., the kindergarten and afternoon care costs can be offset by 2/3rds against taxable income up to a maximum of € 4,000 per child annually. We recommend that you discuss your own particular tax situation regarding fees in detail with your tax advisor.
