The Library and Media Centre

The Library and Media Centre is an integral part of the school community for language resources, the development of research skills, information literacy and classroom support and extension.

We aim to teach students the importance of the Library for independent learning and how to use the library and resources effectively. The librarian supports the Programme of Inquiry across all grades levels by providing additional book and media resources to supplement the units.

Literature which reflects and models the Learner Profile attributes is selected and shared with the students during library lessons. Summaries of the selected literature and the connection to the Learner Profile are also displayed within the library.
