Children actively and curiously discover the world in which they live. As educators, we support our children to become independent. Our Early Years students play, learn and develop in a welcoming, warm and secure atmosphere provided by our caring, enthusiastic and experienced Early Years teachers in a caring, warm and child centred environment.
The Primary Years Programme (PYP) provides the framework for our child centred approach. Through its depth and breadth, the PYP meets the social, physical, emotional, cultural and academic needs through inquiry. Transdisciplinary themes guide the learning experience of our Early Years students, offering them significant opportunities to learn about and explore the world around them.
A combination of playing and learning embedded in a friendly, thought-provoking and reflective environment ensures that all children in our Early Years develop and grow at their own pace. They inquire about literacy, mathematics as well as science and performing and visual arts. Our students are inspired to ask questions about and investigate the world around them.
Our Early Years classes are divided into three developmental learning stages:
Kindergarten Phase 1 (3 to 4 years)
Kindergarten Phase 2 (4 to 5 years)
Transition (5-6 years)
