Students' learning is best accomplished when it is relevant to the real world and transdisciplinary. We achieve this with our concept driven inquiry based learning approach. Through our curriculum, our school's environment, its culture and the people in our school community we prepare students to become lifelong learners in a constantly changing world.
The Primary Years Programme (PYP) is the curriculum framework used in our Primary School. Guided by six interdisciplinary themes of global significance, students explore applying knowledge and skills derived across six subjects areas. Furthermore, embedded within the PYP are elements of the German state curriculum, Rahmenplan Grundschule Hessen.
We focus on the development of the whole child, encompassing academic, social, physical, emotional and cultural needs, through the attributes of the Learner Profile.
Our Primary School consists of Grades 1 through 5.
